JSON Formatter
Format, minify, and validate JSON without uploading content.
Text is processed in this tab. It is not uploaded or saved in browser storage. Limit: 1,000,000 characters.
Ready. Paste text or load the example.
How to use
- Paste strict JSON, then choose Format for two-space indentation, Minify to remove whitespace, or Validate to check syntax.
- Comments and trailing commas are rejected. A syntax error includes its line and column. Whitespace editing preserves large numbers, numeric notation, key order, and duplicate keys; validation checks syntax, not a schema or duplicate-key policy.
- Use the result as input for another operation, or copy it. An error clears the old result so it cannot be mistaken for a successful conversion.
